In the search for peace, every civil society thrives on the relationship between the uniqueness of people and the interaction between cultures, plural and multiform".
The round table intends to draw attention to the growing need for meaningful encounters between cultures and their forms of expression, carrier of peace and cohesion rather than division, through which each person exercises his or her freedom by respecting and welcoming the new present in the different, in the distant and in the other.
The contribution of the EGA (European Gate to Arts) cultural association to the topics debated by the participants in the Round Table, promoted by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, engaged in multiple fields of intervention aims at declining the values hoped for by the Encyclical Pacem in Terris already sixty years ago, in lines of operational confrontation through cooperation between institutions and dialogue with civil society, favouring the meeting between artists, men of culture, scientific and spiritual researchers. The hope of the proponents is to organize a permanent forum on good practices to be shared in an ecumenical spirit in which Europe is the protagonist to help innovate
