The multidisciplinary event that EGA presents in Sofia on July 8th, 2022, born in continuity with the wide exhibition held in Rome last January “Eurasia's Voice”, a journey through the Mediterranean, Balkans and Asia which link the different musical and cultural traditions of the Silk Road Countries.
An particular version of the Roman exhibition is set up in the EGA Vetrina, with 12 large photos and 12 artworks, which mark the stages of the “Sound & Image” journey, following the “Metamorphosis of the lute”.
In the concert hall of the Boris Khristoff Music Center, located next to the Spazio Vetrina EGA, the “Meeting of Cinema”, an innovative section of the exhibition, will take place with the projection of three short films co-produced by EGA, and the awarding of the prize “Best Crossborder Film”, created in collaboration with “Solidando Film Festival” www.solidando-film-festival.org.
EGA in its multidisciplinary approach to the event, brings to Sofia the Kyrgyz director Samara Sagynbaeva and her short film “The swing”, winner of the 2022 EGA award, and Ignazio Mascia with his award-winning documentary “The Pomak Healer” shot in the Rhodope mountains of Bulgaria.
